Valhalla was built by two veterans who believe real strength starts from the inside out. Discipline, resilience, and purpose — forged through service, applied to the barbell.
Chris Jordan spent 28 years serving as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer, including 12 years of enlisted service. His life and leadership have been shaped by discipline, service, and an unwavering commitment to the people around him.
He is married to his wife, Billy-Jo, and is the proud father of five. In 2019, the Jordan family became a Gold Star family after the loss of their son and brother, CTN2 Thomas Jordan. That experience didn't stop them — it sharpened their resolve to move forward with courage, strength, and purpose.
Valhalla was built from that mindset. Chris believes real strength starts internally — through mindset, accountability, and consistency. When the mind is aligned, the body follows. The mission is to help people build resilience from the inside out, equipping them to face life's challenges stronger, more focused, and more capable than before.
Adam served in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005. He is a proud husband to his wife, Kimberly, and father to three daughters — Hayleigh, Hannah, and Adalynn — and grandfather to Mitchell.
After his service, Adam earned a Bachelor's degree from UNC-Greensboro and a Master's in Business Administration from Elon University. He spent the last 20 years in leadership roles running multi-site operations throughout the Eastern United States — managing teams of 5 to 350 employees with a focus on customer service, sales, and profitability.
Adam brings that operational discipline to Valhalla. The same precision that runs a 350-person operation runs this gym — from member experience to facility standards to the way every new lifter is welcomed through the door.
Valhalla Barbell Club exists to help people build resilience — physically, mentally, and in every part of their lives. Veteran-owned, Virginia Beach-rooted, and built for lifters who show up.
